MVP is the abbreviation for Maple Valley Plastics. The company is headquartered in Marlette (USA) near the well-known Great Lakes in Michigan. MVP Disc Sports is known for producing discs with a ring made of a different plastic than the inner side of the disc. This GYRO® technology influences aerodynamics, linear pulse and angular pulse. This gives the manufacturer the opportunity to tune the discs even better and gives the discs a special longevity. It also provides the opportunity for attractive colour combinations. MVP also manufactures the products of the Discgolf brands Axiom Discs and Streamline Discs.

Plastics

Cosmic Electron Firm plastic from MVP combines excellent grip with a slow wear-in process, enhancing glide and creating a more neutral flight path over time. Unlike standard Electron Firm, it features stunning multi-colored swirls for added visual appeal. The plastic is comparable to Zero Hard from Latitude 64.

Cosmic Electron Soft plastic from MVP is the same material as Cosmic Electron. It offers excellent grip and wears down pretty fast, enhancing glide and creating a more neutral flight path over time. Compared to standard Electron, it stands out with its stunning multi-colored swirl design. Comparable to Zero Soft from Latitude 64.

Electron plastic is the high-tech base material of MVP. It was designed to provide particularly good grip and slowly become more understable (beaten-in) through use. This increases with the use of the glide of the discs and the disc get a more neutral flight.

The Electron FirmPlastik is a harder variant of the Electron Plastik. It provides good grip and becomes slower understabler (beaten-in) with use.

Opto plastic was designed to maintain consistent flight characteristics under the toughest conditions while standing out with its transparent colors. Made from some of the most durable plastics in the world, Opto offers a range of beautiful, translucent colors. Discs made from this material are known for their resistance to extreme conditions and retain their flight properties even after heavy use. It is less stiff than Innova’s Champion or Discraft’s Z-Line and is identical to the Lucid and VIP plastic blends.
